What structured data is
Structured data is machine-readable markup that describes things on a page using defined vocabularies such as Schema.org. It can identify an organization, local business, product, article, person, event, breadcrumb trail, and many other entity types.
Accuracy matters more than volume
Adding every possible schema type does not make a site more authoritative. Markup should match visible, truthful page content. Use the most appropriate type, include meaningful properties, and avoid claims that are not supported by the page.
Publisher and organization information
Sites benefit from making ownership and responsibility clear. Organization or LocalBusiness markup can support that clarity when it accurately represents the publisher. Article pages can identify a responsible author or publisher where appropriate.

Structured data is one part of entity clarity
Machines also learn from page content, internal links, contact information, about pages, consistent names, external references, and other signals. Schema should reinforce a clear site identity rather than compensate for missing or confusing information.
